I like Biden. I wish he would have done better during the primaries. If only I could snap my fingers and flip the ticket.

Things are pretty bad when Dear Abby starts to persecute witnesses. The end must be really close.

What's your favourite country you've visited?
by lfcviking inmine is australia.
the's so much to do there, the climate is so warm, the wildlife there is so vast & interesting, you can scuba dive the great barrier reef, there's so many cool beaches and overall it seems quite civilised.

Sorry cbb. I don't know what day I'll be in Columbia, but I will be there. I'll be in touch when I get under way.
Hey Purps! It'd be fun to get down to Arkansas but I don't think its in the cards this time. The schedule is a bit short this year. Where is Lake of the Ozarks?
Thanks for the pm, troubled mind. I sent one back.

One American on International Politics
by milligal init seems the entire world feels that americans are not only ignorant of international events but also void of any sense regarding their own politics.
after reading one spicey thread on the topic of our apparent unwitting density i had a couple things to say.

I get a kick out of the American Empire talk. Our is a unique empire. Everything goes out and nothing comes in. The Romans, Dutch, and Brits...those people knew how to run an empire.

George Bush working on Autobiography
by Simon inapparently the current president has started work on his autobiography which he hopes to have ready for release when he leaves office.. he's run into a few issues though ... apparently his coloring-in went over the lines in quite a few places and he had trouble cutting out the popup shapes with the plastic safety scissors he was allowed to use..

Har-dee-har!
Everyone knows that President Bush is too busy plotting and scheming with Cheney to de-rail the November elections so he, Bush, can stay in office and become Supreme Dictator of the United States. He doesn't have time to color and cut out pop-ups as fun as that may sound.
